What is Click-Through Rate (CTR)?
By CleverSage | January 17, 2008
Click-through rate (CTR) is a website metric that measures clicks for a particular banner ad, text link, or any of a number of other website components.
How is click-through rate (CTR) calculated?
Click-through rate is calculated by dividing the number of clicks (the times that an ad has been clicked) by the number of impressions (the number of times that the ad has been viewed).

Example
Number of Clicks = 6
Number of impressions = 100
6 clicks / 100 impressions = 6%
So your click-through rate would be 6%.
